I had a chance to personally meet Al at the Fort Frances Badminton Tournament this March. I had surfed his website prior, and when inquired about a few rackets; he offered to run to his shop and bring them, with an extended opportunity to try them out for a game or two. I ended up buying 2 rackets that day since they were cheaper then other racket sites i had been to. Being new to badminton, and being my first tournament; we chatted a bit about the sport, rackets, his personal perspective on all racket sports, and his stringing abilities. From a simple stringing, to a complex, stringing (one customer likes specific strings at a different weight increments.
Today I write this testimonial based on my on-line experience with Al. I was interested in one racket he still had and a newer racket bags (which he did not have, but was on order -new model)
He kept me informed on the status of his order (on back order), when he received the bag (sent a pic), and we established an agreement for both the bag, and rackets that evening. He promised me that he would provide me with a tracking # the next day when he shipped it. And he did, even with the poor snowy weather conditions, he again went well out of his way to assure that I would get my product in a timely fashion. I can testify that snow will not hinder his service, but i will have to wait till summer to test his service in the rain (or shine)...lol
